Description/Duties :
|
Job Responsibilities:
1 Provide field support for new cell construction in the following areas: on site supervision, equipment delivery coordination, path alignment coordination, equipment installation, cell turn up, and cell optimization.
2 Coordinate or perform maintenance of cell sites which involves the emergency generator, batteries/power equipment, the AC units, microwave dishes, antennas, towers, locks and fences, coax cabling, etc.
3 Maintains radio equipment, as well as facilities.
4 Maintaining PSTN and cell site circuits by routine or fault testing and repairing as needed.
5 Assist where needed to identify customer system and equipment problems
6 Determines the cause of equipment failure using various types of complex test equipment
7 Maintains accurate records of equipment assignments,
8 Programming and testing new products.
9 Establishes and maintains strong vendor relationships with local providers
10 Develops or assists with the development and implementation of policies and procedures consistent with those of the organization to ensure efficient and safe technical operation of the department.
11 Monitors expenses, complying with administrative functions and ensuring expense accuracy.
12 Ensures market compliance with accepted maintenance procedures and policies
13 Ensures compliance with written operating plans and procedures, company policies, labor laws, and OSHA, FAA, DOT, and Hazardous Materials.
REQUIREMENTS
1 4+ years of industry experience in a field tech capacity
2 Familiarity with telecommunications testing methods, procedures and equipment.
3 Prior program management experience in the technology sector and wireless industry.
4 Prior experience successfully managing external customer/partner relationships.
5 Strong working knowledge of MS Office platform and PC’s
6 Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar technical degree
