Description/Duties :
|
The Instructor works as part of the Delivery Services team to deliver aerospace industry courseware.
Skills:
Experience in applying Aerospace and/or Compliance requirements in one or more of the following areas:
o Electrical installations on and about aircraft
o Bond & Ground installations on and about aircraft
o Seal processes on the aircraft
o Drilling, riveting, shot and rotopeen
o Comprehension and application of blueprints, production standards, installation procedures
o Production Systems application
o Frequent contact with chemicals, solvents, and hazardous materials on a daily basis. Chemicals can include Methyl Propyl Ketone, Alcohols, Alodine, Paints, Sealants, Cadmium, Composites etc.
o Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Significant Industrial Skills subject matter expertise, experience, and certifications.
1-3 years Training experience preferred (ILT, WBT)
Knowledge of principles and methods for teaching and instruction for individuals and groups preferred.
Prior military experience preferred.
Security clearance, past or present, preferred.
Instructor Responsibilities:
Manage assigned courses to be delivered including schedules, resources, communications, risks, and constraints.
Review individual course materials in advance for accuracy and completeness.
Delivery of courses including check-in of participants, ensuring all materials are in the classroom, checking of pre-requisites and pre-work, instruction, performing course evaluations, issuing certifications (if required), clean-up of classrooms at end of class, providing any required information back to the client.
Provide status update to the Delivery Services Manager weekly, or more frequently, if necessary.
Escalate any issues to the Delivery Services Manager in a timely manner.
Stay abreast of aerospace and compliance requirements in the agreed subject matter areas.
Maintain high levels of customer service and client interaction.
