Duties & Responsibilities
Do you have experience working with ISO, AS 9100 and LEAN standards and practices? Do you have experience performing manufacturing parts quality inspection? Do you have expertise in providing quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results?
If this sounds like you, Pioneer Industries is currently seeking Three (3) Quality Inspector candidates for our Aerospace Manufacturing/Production group.
Education & Experience Required
High School and/or GED AND
Two (2) years QA inspection experience in a manufacturing parts environment
Certified Quality Inspector designation from the American Society for Quality Preferred although not required
Considerable knowledge of Quality Assurance Inspection principles, practices and procedures
Knowledge of ISO, AS 9100 and LEAN standards
Experience approving incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
Experience with in-process production approval by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
Experience approving finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
Skill in documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
Ability to maintain measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
Ability to maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
Ability to update QA job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications
