Do you have strong decision making skills and strong personal and professional boundaries? Do you have the ability to work Day, Swing and/or Graveyard shift?

If this sounds like you we would like you to consider our opportunity for Resident Monitor I. We have a vacancy with our Pioneer Fellowship House facility, a 60 bed coed residential corrections facility located in the Seattle First Hill neighborhood.

This position is responsible for enforcing policies and procedures of Pioneer Human Services and the Department of Corrections. The incumbent is responsible for supporting and maintaining the safety and security of all staff and residents.

Requirements:

Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screen are a requirement for this opportunity.

Individuals selected for these opportunities should have the ability to work shifts.

Education & Experience Required
High school diploma or GED.
Bachelors degree of coursework in Criminal Justice, Corrections, Social Work or related field preferred
One (1) year experience working with offenders and/or individuals who are incarcerated preferred.
Ability to monitor and report out the daily activities of the house that will demonstrate the accountability of the residents within the framework of the house policies
Demonstrated experience supporting residents to learn new and proactive skills to be successful in the community
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with clients, peers, management and corrections personnel
Demonstrated experience working as a contributing member of a team
Understanding and practicing the concept of establishing strong personal and professional boundaries
Criminal background check and pre-employment drug testing is required.
