System Administrator
Location: Tacoma Operations Center, Tacoma, WA

The System Administratro will provide Technical Support for all end users at the Tacoma Location of Expedia. This includes supporting all software applications and hardware utilized by end users. Answer inbound calls to helpdesk and assist the clients in an effective and efficient manner. Must be able to manage their own caseload and strong problem solving skills. The ideal candidate will need to be highly motivated, a quick learner of new ideas and concepts, outgoing & team oriented. Possible on call duties required.

The ideal candidate must understand and be comfortable performing in-depth computer hardware repair and troubleshooting, experience dealing with computer support issues and performing customer support tasks. Candidate must understand and be comfortable working with troubleshooting Windows 2000 networked environment, including Windows 2000 Professional workstations, and XP Professional. Candidate should have extensive experience supporting MS Office Professional including Outlook configurations with multiple profiles.
Responsibilities include:
Answering help desk phones, tracking service calls from start to finish, installing and configuring desktop software applications. Will diagnose and repair PC and Printer problems. Experience helping non-technical people troubleshoots their computer and software issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills and problem-solving capabilities. Willingness to help others is essential and be a team player as well.
